If you have water damage in your home, it is important to take immediate action to minimize the damage. If you can, try to stop the flow of water by shutting off the main water valve. If you can't stop the flow of water, move other items away from the wet areas.
Water damage can often go untreated if it is perceived as not a major issue. However, the water damage that is left untreated can often have major repercussions. For example, if water damage is left untreated in a home, it can lead to the growth of mold and mildew. Additionally, water damage can cause structural damage to a home, which can lead to expensive repairs.
