Water on a Fitness Center Floor Can Cause Slipping

This Nashville fitness center had a problem with a leaky water pipe that deposited puddles in several sections of the exercise area. The owners, being concerned about liabilities, called us in to remove the water, protect the equipment from rusting, and to return the relative humidity to a comfortable level for the members. Pictured are air movers and dehumidifiers placed to circulate the air to increase evaporation and capture the water vapor. We removed several vinyl floor covings in several areas to ensure the walls were also dried.
