Oak Hill Storm Damage Cleanup

The breached roof allowed rainwater from a severe storm to enter the attic crawl space over this garage area. Our SERVPRO of South Nashville technicians donned their
PPE, personal protective equipment, to start the cleanup. We demolished the entire drywall ceiling. The rolled batten insulation was soaked sufficiently to warrant discarding. After removing all the damaged materials to a rented dumpster, (there was storm damage to another wing of the house) the restoration process began. Air movers, some heated, and dehumidifiers were used to extract the moisture from the air and the roof trusses. We verified that the drying was complete. We then fogged the crawl with an anti-fungal product. New insulation was installed, and the ceiling was ready for new drywall.
