According to the U.S. Fire Administration, nearly a tenth of fires over the last 3 years were classified as electrical in nature. Most fire experts inform us that the most common type of preventable fire in the United States are those that are electrical.  

The numbers are divided on where the most dangerous spot within the home is. When looking at the data, most fires begin in the bedroom; while most deaths occur in the den.

It is wildly important that we begin to take seriously the dangers associated with electrical fires and ways to prevent them.

4. Space heaters
5. Wiring
