Commercial Fire Prevention

As a business owner, there is always the potential for emergency situations to arise in your workplace. Fires are one of the most common emergencies and it is vital that you be prepared in case one happens at your place of work. We want to help you be ready when fire prevention week rolls around by offering some helpful tips on how to prepare for this type of situation with ease.
1) Make sure every employee has an evacuation plan
2) teach employees what they need to do if a fire breaks out
3) Create an emergency contact list with the appropriate phone numbers for all staff members
If there's a fire in your place of work, it is important that you follow these steps:
1) Find out if smoke alarms or sprinkler systems are at your establishment to provide early warning.
2) Evacuate the premises and urge others within earshot to do the same. If there's time, lock doors behind you.
3) Use hallways and exits other than near smoke or fire—they may be blocked or closed.
